Seedlings Preschool emphasizes learning through play, with a strong focus on the social and emotional growth of a child. We offer bi-weekly science/sensory learning classes with our full-time science teacher. Music is offered weekly from our Berkeley School of Music trained music teacher, and children participate in an art activity every day. The children will also garden in our very own backyard, have neighborhood walks, and participate in cooking classes. Click here to view a typical day.

Our popular summer camp is a continuation of our school year-learning through play!
Plan on lots of art, music, movement, gardening, science, building, games, reading, and of course, water play in our private backyard. We will have the same terrific teachers and the same small class sizes.

Lunch Bunch
Come join the “Lunch Bunchers!”
You may add an additional hour (11:30 am - 12:30 pm) of “lunch bunch” to half day sessions. The children will have an indoor or outdoor picnic and a story/soft music rest time. Don’t forget to pack a picnic lunch!

Seedlings has an open admissions policy.
If your child loves to laugh and play, we'd love to have you join our family. A meeting with our school administrators with your child is not necessary, but if you'd like to tour our school, we'd be happy to meet you.
